Erika’s expertise and experience includes:
- Infrastructure investment and business cases appraisal
Led technical reviews and provided feedback and contributions to economic studies, business cases and demand assessments for large infrastructure projects and water supply schemes across the Queensland water industry.
- Water trading and sales
Developed and executed the temporary and permanent water trading strategies for Sunwater Limited, increasing access to water allocations for a variety of end-users across Queensland. Also developed and delivered high-value water tenders for the Queensland water market with transparency and probity.
- Policy development and documentation
Reviewed and revised a suite of auditable water trading policies and documents for Sunwater Limited, which outline complex trading frameworks and internal processes.
- Infrastructure funding submissions
Developed successful funding submissions for the Australian Federal Government’s National Water Grid Fund (NWGF) and Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions to energy utilities in the United States.
- Financial modelling and market strategy
Supported the development and delivery of distributed energy resource (DER) projects for California investor-owned utility clients, including developing financial models and go-to-market strategies.
Erika holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware in the United States.
